Royal Caribbean’s Navigator OTS Set to Homeport in Singapore for the 2026-2027 Asia Season
Royal Caribbean International has announced that the Navigator of the Seas will be homeporting in Singapore for the first time, aiming to serve the Asian market with a series of voyages from October 2026 to February 2027. The cruise line’s itineraries, now available for booking, will vary from 3 to 12 nights, designed to cater to travelers looking for both brief getaways and longer explorations of Southeast and East Asia.
Chad Grospe, vice president and managing director for Asia Pacific, emphasizes that the cruises are tailored to meet regional travel preferences, offering a multi-generational holiday experience that fuses Royal Caribbean’s renowned attractions with the cultural richness of the destinations.
The Navigator of the Seas will operate shorter trips of 3 to 5 nights, visiting ports such as Penang and Langkawi in Malaysia and Phuket in Thailand. These locations are known for their culinary offerings, stunning beaches, and opportunities for adventure. For passengers desiring extended journeys, a notable 10-night cruise will call on Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, and include an overnight stay in Bangkok, providing a mix of coastal beauty and vibrant city life.
In February 2027, the ship will broaden its reach with sailings from both Singapore and Tokyo, featuring cruises of 11 to 12 nights that will make stops in major cities like Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Taipei, ensuring a blend of cultural experience and engaging onboard entertainment.
The ship will introduce various amenities to Asia, including a redesigned Caribbean-style pool deck, dual waterslides, the FlowRider surf simulator, a rock climbing wall, and glow-in-the-dark laser tag. For entertainment, original stage productions and ice-skating performances will take place at Studio B.
Dining options will also be enhanced with venues such as Hooked, El Loco Fresh, Johnny Rockets Express, and The Bamboo Room, which offers a Polynesian-themed cocktail experience. The deployment of Navigator of the Seas underlines Royal Caribbean’s commitment to providing family-friendly vacation experiences in Asia, establishing new standards for cruising during the 2026-2027 season.
