Exploring RCI-Royal Caribbean’s New Resorts: Perfect Day Mexico and Royal Beach Club Paradise Island (Bahamas)
RCI-Royal Caribbean International is expanding its exclusive cruise destinations with the introduction of Perfect Day Mexico, set to open in the third quarter of 2027, and the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau, expected to launch in December 2025. These developments aim to offer guests unique experiences that blend leisure, adventure, and cultural immersion.
Perfect Day Mexico: A Premier Cruise Destination
Located along the Caribbean coast of Mexico, Perfect Day Mexico will span over 200 acres and feature seven distinct neighborhoods. A major highlight will be the Loco Waterpark, which will include the towering Jaguar’s Peak, a 170-foot waterslide that will be the tallest in both North and South America. This attraction will have ten slides, including the world’s longest coaster waterslide, providing an exhilarating ride lasting over two minutes.
In addition to the waterpark, a massive Splash Cove will introduce the world’s longest lazy river, over a mile long, complemented by float-up bars and an optional wave and rapid section. There will also be a 100,000-square-foot pool and Royal Caribbean’s largest Splashaway Bay for children.
For adults, El Hideaway will offer a tranquil space with a zero-entry pool, swim-up bar, in-pool DJ, and the Ultimate Party Cabana, which can accommodate up to 20 guests with its own private pool and bar. Dining options will be plentiful, featuring 12 eateries inspired by regional cuisine and 24 bars, including six swim-up bars. Cultural elements, such as art installations and Mariachi performances, will enhance the experience.
Royal Beach Club Paradise Island: An All-Inclusive Bahamian Getaway
Slated to open in December 2025, the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island will span 17 acres on the western side of Paradise Island, Nassau. This location aims to infuse Bahamian culture with Royal Caribbean’s signature services, presenting an all-inclusive beach day to guests.
The club will include two beautiful beaches, three temperature-controlled pools, and The Floating Flamingo, the world’s largest swim-up bar. Guests can also relish various dining options, private cabanas, and live music—all available through a day pass.
An Ultimate Family Cabana will cater to larger groups, hosting up to 12 guests and featuring a whirlpool, slide, private bathroom, and a personal attendant.
These new ventures are part of Royal Caribbean’s broader strategy to enhance guest experiences through exclusive and immersive environments. Perfect Day Mexico will be included in Western Caribbean itineraries departing from various homeports, and bookings are expected to open this fall.
As part of these developments, RCI emphasizes sustainability and community collaboration, working with local governments to ensure adherence to environmental standards while supporting regional growth.
