Hapag-Lloyd’s HANSEATIC Inspiration Set to Launch South American Cruises in 2025

In late 2025, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises will launch three exclusive expeditions aboard the HANSEATIC inspiration, focusing on the vibrant ecosystems and rich cultures of Central and South America. This modern expedition vessel, accommodating up to 230 guests, will feature bilingual service in German and English, enhancing the intimate cruise experience.

The first voyage, titled "Oh, How Beautiful is the Panama Canal," is set to depart from Panama City on November 8 for an 11-day journey. Highlights will include a complete transit of the Panama Canal and a new stop at Punta Leona in Costa Rica, where guests can immerse themselves in unique wildlife and dramatic volcanic landscapes.

Following this, the "Mysterious Equatorial Adventure" will depart on November 19 for a 16-day exploration along the Pacific coasts of Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Chile. This itinerary is designed to provide travelers with insights into the area’s cultural heritage by visiting archaeological sites and engaging with local indigenous communities.

The final expedition, "Nature is Big, Man is Small," will set sail on December 5 for a 15-day adventure through the stunning fjords of Patagonia, Chile. Guests will have the opportunity to witness the breathtaking landscapes of Torres del Paine National Park and observe glaciers closely via Zodiac boat excursions.
