Navigator OTS: Royal Caribbean’s Exciting Homeporting in Singapore for the 2026-2027 Asia Season!

RCI-Royal Caribbean has revealed that the Navigator of the Seas will be homeported in Singapore for the first time during the 2026-2027 Asia season. This deployment opens the door to a series of diverse travel experiences throughout Southeast and East Asia from October 2026 to February 2027, including voyages ranging from 3 to 12 nights, catering to all kinds of travelers.

Chad Grospe, Royal Caribbean’s vice president for Asia Pacific, expressed that the itineraries were thoughtfully crafted to align with the preferences of regional travelers. The goal is to deliver a multi-generational vacation that marries Royal Caribbean’s signature experiences with the cultural wealth of Asia.

Shorter sailings of 3 to 5 nights will make stops at destinations such as Penang and Langkawi in Malaysia, and Phuket in Thailand, each known for their culinary delights, beautiful beaches, and rich adventures. For those interested in longer trips, a 10-night voyage will include stops in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and an extended stay in Bangkok, blending serene seaside views with vibrant city life.

In February 2027, the cruise offerings will broaden further with longer itineraries from both Singapore and Tokyo, spanning 11 to 12 nights, featuring visits to cultural hubs such as Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Taipei. These cruises promise a combination of local immersion alongside the onboard entertainment that Royal Caribbean is known for.

The Navigator of the Seas will introduce several amenities in Asia for the first time. The ship will showcase a revamped Caribbean-style pool deck, thrilling waterslides—The Blaster and Riptide—, the FlowRider surf simulator, a rock climbing wall, and glow-in-the-dark laser tag. Moreover, the Royal Escape Room: The Observatorium offers a unique group puzzle-solving experience, and To Dry For, the first dry bar at sea, enhances the onboard entertainment.

Dining options have also been elevated to enhance guest enjoyment. The ship includes the seafood-oriented Hooked, the lively El Loco Fresh for Mexican cuisine, and Johnny Rockets Express for classic American diner favorites. Guests can unwind at the Bamboo Room, a Polynesian-themed cocktail bar serving craft drinks in a relaxed atmosphere.
