Hapag-Lloyd’s HANSEATIC Inspiration Set to Launch South American Cruises in 2025

In late 2025, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises will launch three specially curated expeditions on the HANSEATIC inspiration, a modern expedition ship designed for up to 230 guests. These voyages will explore the diverse natural and cultural landscapes of Central and South America, with bilingual services provided in both German and English.

The first journey, titled "Oh, How Beautiful is the Panama Canal," departs on November 8th from Panama City. This 11-day itinerary features a complete transit of the Panama Canal and introduces a new stop in Punta Leona, Costa Rica, where passengers can engage with the local wildlife and enjoy stunning volcanic landscapes.

Following this, the "Mysterious Equatorial Adventure" departs on November 19th for a 16-day expedition along the Pacific coasts of Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Chile. This journey is rich in cultural and ecological experiences, including visits to archaeological sites, lush rainforests, and interactions with indigenous communities.

The final voyage, "Nature is Big, Man is Small," begins on December 5th and lasts for 15 days, focusing on the breathtaking fjords of Patagonia, Chile. Guests will have the chance to explore Torres del Paine National Park and get an up-close view of the region’s glaciers through Zodiac excursions.
