RCI-Royal Caribbean International is expanding its portfolio with two new exclusive destinations: Perfect Day Mexico in Mahahual, set to open in the third quarter of 2027, and the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau, scheduled to open in December 2025. These projects are designed to offer unique and immersive experiences that blend leisure, adventure, and cultural elements.
Perfect Day Mexico: A New Benchmark in Cruise Destinations
Covering 220 acres along Mexico’s Caribbean coast, Perfect Day Mexico will feature seven distinct neighborhoods. The highlight will be Loco Waterpark, which will include Jaguar’s Peak, a 170-foot-tall water slide tower, claimed to be the tallest in the Americas. This will feature ten slides, including the world’s longest coaster waterslide that lasts over two minutes.
Nearby, Splash Cove will offer the world’s longest lazy river, extending over a mile and featuring float-up bars as well as a wave section. Other attractions will include a 100,000-square-foot pool and Royal Caribbean’s largest Splashaway Bay for children.
For adults, El Hideaway will serve as a tranquil area hosting a zero-entry pool, a swim-up bar, and cabanas for group gatherings. With 12 dining options and 24 bars, including six swim-up bars, there will be plenty of choices to indulge in local cuisine and beverages. Cultural experiences will be integrated throughout, featuring art, music performances, and local artisan markets.
Royal Beach Club Paradise Island: An All-Inclusive Bahamian Experience
Scheduled to open in December 2025, the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island will spread across 17 acres and seeks to marry Bahamian culture with Royal Caribbean’s signature offerings. Guests can expect an all-inclusive beach experience, complete with two beaches, three temperature-controlled swimming pools, and the world’s largest swim-up bar, known as The Floating Flamingo. A variety of dining options, private cabanas, and live music will be provided, all included in the day pass.
The Ultimate Family Cabana will cater to families with a two-story setup for up to 12 guests, featuring a whirlpool, slide, private bathroom, and a personal attendant.
These new destinations align with RCI’s strategy to enhance guest experiences through exclusive environments while also focusing on sustainability and community development. Perfect Day Mexico will be offered in Western Caribbean itineraries departing from ports including Galveston, New Orleans, and various Florida locations, with bookings opening this fall.
