StarCruises Launches Exciting Vietnam-Singapore Voyages Aboard the Star Voyager

In an exciting development for the regional cruise industry, StarCruises has unveiled plans to deploy the Star Voyager for voyages linking Vietnam and Singapore. This initiative includes three roundtrip sailings from Phu My Port, which serves Ho Chi Minh City, scheduled for June 13, 17, and 21, 2025. The timing of these departures aligns with Vietnam’s school holidays, making it an appealing option for families and holidaymakers.

The announcement was made during a press conference in Ho Chi Minh City, attended by key figures such as Michael Goh, President of StarDream Cruises, and representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Centre and the Singapore Tourism Board in Vietnam.

Originally named the Pacific Explorer, the Star Voyager was acquired and renamed by Resorts World Cruises in early 2025. With a capacity for about 1,998 passengers, the ship boasts various dining venues, entertainment lounges, and recreational facilities.

This new deployment signifies a major step forward for Vietnam’s cruise industry, positioning Ho Chi Minh City as a budding hub for maritime tourism in Southeast Asia. The collaboration between StarCruises and local tourism authorities aims to enhance inbound and outbound travel, promoting economic growth and cultural exchange in the region.
