Fred Olsen’s Borealis Set to Return to Dover for Exciting Summer 2025 Cruises
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has officially resumed operations from the Port of Dover, England, with the Borealis setting sail for a variety of summer 2025 itineraries. The ship will visit exciting destinations such as Norway, Malta, Croatia, the Azores, and Iceland.
The summer season kicked off with an 8-night cruise titled ‘Scenic Fjords and Falls of Norway,’ departing on May 28, 2025. This voyage includes stops at Haugesund and Bergen, along with scenic cruising through stunning fjords like Nordfjord, Innvikfjord, Olden, Skjolden, Lustrafjord, and Lysefjord.
The upcoming voyages include an 11-night cruise named ‘Malta & the Scenic Sights of Croatia,’ scheduled for June 5, 2025. This journey will take passengers to Tangier, Valletta, Split, Korcula, and Dubrovnik. Also, travelers can look forward to the 13-night ‘Volcanic Vistas of the Azores & Madeira’ cruise starting on July 4, 2025, with destinations including Praia da Vitoria, Ponta Delgada, Funchal, and Lisbon.
Borealis has a capacity of up to 1,400 guests and boasts a variety of amenities including dining options, leisure facilities, and diverse cabin choices. Its compact size allows it to dock in ports that larger vessels cannot access.
Dover is one of several departure points for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines in 2025, which also includes Liverpool, Portsmouth, Southampton, Newcastle, and Rosyth.
