MSC Cruise Division and Formula 1 Extend Global Partnership Until 2030

MSC Group’s Cruise Division has officially renewed its Global Partnership with Formula 1, extending the collaboration through 2030. The partnership, which began in 2022, aims to enhance innovation and deliver exceptional experiences, connecting audiences through premium travel and global sporting events.

This renewed agreement maintains the existing elements, including race title sponsorships, prominent visibility during races, and various hospitality initiatives. Notably, the sister brand, Explora Journeys, will continue to have a presence at selected Formula 1 events through promotional activities.

As part of this partnership, Explora Journeys will unveil a unique activation at the FORMULA 1 TAG HEUER GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2025. Their new ship, EXPLORA II, will be positioned as a floating luxury hotel in Monaco’s Port Hercule, offering guests an exclusive location to enjoy the race and attend a series of curated onboard gatherings.

Throughout the partnership’s duration, both MSC and Formula 1 plan to work together to create immersive experiences that enhance the connection between the maritime brand and motorsport fans. Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1, acknowledged the partnership’s renewal as a testament to the alignment of both organizations in their commitment to innovation and elite hospitality, which will be prominently displayed during the Monaco Grand Prix.
