Fred Olsen’s Borealis Returns to Dover for Exciting Summer 2025 Cruise Season
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is set to recommence operations from the Port of Dover, England, with an exciting lineup of summer 2025 sailings aboard its ship, Borealis. Travelers can look forward to journeys to fascinating destinations such as Norway, Malta, Croatia, the Azores, and Iceland.
The season kicked off with an 8-night cruise titled ‘Scenic Fjords and Falls of Norway’, which departed on May 28, 2025. This voyage includes visits to Haugesund and Bergen, in addition to stunning scenic cruising through various fjords including Nordfjord, Innvikfjord, Olden, Skjolden, Lustrafjord, and Lysefjord.
Following this, the ship will embark on the 11-night ‘Malta & the Scenic Sights of Croatia’ cruise, departing on June 5, 2025. Key ports of call on this journey include Tangier, Valletta, Split, Korcula, and Dubrovnik. Moreover, a 13-night cruise titled ‘Volcanic Vistas of the Azores & Madeira’ is scheduled to set sail on July 4, 2025, featuring stops in Praia da Vitoria, Ponta Delgada, Funchal, and Lisbon.
Borealis is designed to accommodate up to 1,400 guests and is equipped with various amenities such as multiple dining options and leisure facilities. Its smaller size enables it to access ports that are typically inaccessible to larger cruise ships.
Dover is one of several departure ports for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines in 2025, alongside Liverpool, Portsmouth, Southampton, Newcastle, and Rosyth.
