Cunard’s Transatlantic Fashion Week: A Stylish Voyage Returns in 2025!

Cunard’s Transatlantic Fashion Week is set to make a grand return in 2025, with a voyage from New York to Southampton aboard the iconic Queen Mary 2 from October 31 to November 7. This will be the first time that the event departs from the United States, and it promises to gather renowned fashion talents, including celebrated designers Christian Siriano and Bob Mackie, alongside supermodel Coco Rocha.

Since its inception in 2016, Transatlantic Fashion Week has become a coveted event, showcasing legendary designers on this sumptuous cruise. Katie McAlister, President of Cunard, remarked on the significance of this event, emphasizing Cunard’s ongoing legacy of merging high culture with ocean travel.

Notably, the acclaimed designer Christian Siriano will headline the event with his inaugural runway show at sea, showcasing a selection from his 16-year collection. Among his offerings will be a nautical-themed gown crafted exclusively for Cunard, which will be on display throughout the cruise. Additionally, guests can participate in a Q&A session with Siriano in the Royal Court Theatre and attend his book signings.

Siriano expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "I am honored to headline the return of Transatlantic Fashion Week… the new custom piece I’ll be unveiling onboard draws inspiration from the sea and celebrates classic glamour synonymous with Cunard."

Fashion icon Bob Mackie, known for designing for stars such as Cher and Madonna, will also present an exquisite selection from his personal archive, including gowns and sketches from his couture collections that will be available for auction. Guests will have the unique opportunity to attend a special screening of his documentary, "Bob Mackie: Naked Illusion," followed by a live Q&A with Mackie.

Mackie shared his thoughts on the event, stating, "I’ve always believed fashion should be fabulous and a bit fearless… a ship as glamorous as Queen Mary 2 offers the perfect setting."

Alongside these fashion legends, the voyage will also feature journalist and author Dana Thomas and creative director James Aguiar, who is co-curating the event with Cunard.
