First Look: Celestyal Unveils Exciting New Cabins on Discovery

Celestyal has unveiled the first official images of new cabins aboard the Celestyal Discovery, a result of an extensive winter refit in Greece. The refurbishment introduced a total of 47 new staterooms, which include 30 "Junior Dream Suites" and two "Grand Horizon Suites" situated above the bridge. Partnering with the design agency AMK, these upgrades have incorporated private balconies measuring 170 square feet, boosting the ship’s premium capacity by over 50 percent.

In addition to the luxurious suites, 15 interior “Cosmos Cabins” were added, bringing about a nearly 7.5 percent increase in overall capacity. The design elements of these staterooms are inspired by the Eastern Mediterranean and Arabian Gulf regions, enhancing the onboard experience for guests.

Lee Haslett, Celestyal’s Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized the company’s commitment to improving guest experiences and meeting the rising demand for spacious, comfortable accommodations while maintaining the charm and personal service that comes with smaller vessels. He expressed pride in taking Celestyal Discovery to the Arabian Gulf for the first time in December 2025.

Currently, the ship operates in the Eastern Mediterranean and is set to debut in the Arabian Gulf on December 12, 2025. It will join the Celestyal Journey for a series of cruises ranging from three to seven nights, scheduled to include ports in Oman, the UAE, and Qatar through March 2026.
