USM Implements BASSnet SaaS Solutions for Enhanced Operational Efficiency

BASS Software has secured a contract with Unity Ship Management (USM) to implement the complete suite of BASSnet SaaS solutions, which will enhance operations for 21 vessels and USM’s office functions. USM, responsible for managing a sizeable fleet’s technical and operational aspects, found that their previous system was inadequate for achieving their operational objectives.

Choosing BASSnet enables USM to unify vessel and shore operations on a single, integrated cloud platform. Stanislav Tritakov, the technical director at Unity Ship Management, highlighted that BASSnet’s reputation as a leading maritime technology solution played a significant role in their decision. He emphasized the necessity for a reliable end-to-end system to reduce inefficiencies and add real operational value. BASS’s extensive experience and commitment to collaboration with users were also key factors in USM choosing BASSnet.

The contract features various modules including Financials, Human Resource Management, Maintenance, Procurement, and the HSEQ suite, all powered by the latest BASSnet Web 3.0 software.

The implementation will occur in two phases: the first phase is focused on BASSnet Procurement, Maintenance, and Financials, which includes migrating PMS data for the entire fleet. The second phase will incorporate Human Resource Management along with the newest version of BASSnet Web 3.0.
