MS Artania, operated by Phoenix Reisen, is currently experiencing a serious outbreak of norovirus as it heads toward Norway. The ship set sail from Bremerhaven, Germany, on a 14-night cruise named "Nordkap, Lofoten und Fjordnorwegen." As it made its way to the port of Bronnoysund in Norway, the number of reported illness cases among passengers surged from approximately 50 to around 200 within just two days.

Passengers affected by the illness have been quarantined in their cabins to prevent the virus from spreading further.
