Margaritaville’s Beachcomber: The Largest Vessel Yet from Costa Fortuna Debuts!

Margaritaville at Sea has introduced its third cruise ship, the Beachcomber, which represents a notable advancement as the fleet’s largest and new flagship. Formerly known as Costa Fortuna, this vessel boasts over 100,000 gross tons and can accommodate approximately 3,450 guests, significantly exceeding its sister ships, Paradise and Islander.

The Beachcomber retains many beloved venues from the Margaritaville brand, including the 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Hemisphere Dancer piano lounge, and the License to Chill bar. Additionally, it will present fifteen new onboard experiences and recreational spaces, designed to enhance the brand’s relaxed, island-inspired vibe.

Martha Brabham, the Head of Design, emphasized that the ship’s aesthetic draws inspiration from vintage surf art and nostalgic beach scenes, effectively capturing the carefree tropical atmosphere synonymous with Margaritaville. This design builds upon the visual style established with the Islander in 2024.

While specific information regarding the Beachcomber’s home port and itineraries is still pending, it is anticipated to operate from Florida, traveling to popular destinations in the Bahamas and Caribbean.
