Elevating Entertainment: Star Princess Theatre Lineup Takes Shipboard Culture to New Heights with Princess Cruises

Princess Cruises is set to enhance the onboard experience aboard the Star Princess starting October 4, 2025, with a lineup of engaging entertainment options. The ship will feature unique theatrical performances, stargazing candlelight concerts, and spontaneous live shows, all delivered by an international cast.

At the Princess Arena theatre, two new productions will debut. The first, "Meridian," tells the story of noblewoman Arabella Dovewood and her journey aboard the fictional ship Celestial, encompassing themes of hidden emotions amid lavish masked balls and the gritty setting of engine rooms. This original production is directed by BAFTA winner Dan Shipton and features a mix of newly reimagined hits. The second show, "Illuminate: A Spectacle of Joy," invites audiences into a nostalgic environment that celebrates wonder through vibrant choreography and music.

Returning favorites include "Viva La Música," a lively performance featuring Latin-inspired hits likened to the rhythm of the stage, choreographed by Liz Imperio.

Beyond theatre, guests can enjoy evening events across the ship. A notable attraction is The Dome, a glass-enclosed top-deck venue hosting the inaugural Candlelight Concert Series, where classical pieces are reinterpreted in a candle-lit ambiance with ocean views. The Piazza will feature the Princess Jamz show, showcasing 15 musicians from the Princess World Orchestra, alongside the new Celestial Champagne Soirée that combines music, lights, and visual storytelling culminating in a unique Champagne Waterfall experience.

The entertainment offerings are crafted by a diverse ensemble of performers from 24 countries, enriching the onboard festivities with deck parties, themed nights, and pop-up events designed to inspire and create lasting memories for guests.

Star Princess, the second vessel in Princess’s LNG‑powered Sphere class, has a capacity for up to 4,300 guests and will embark on a varied inaugural season with destinations including the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Panama Canal, and Alaska.
