Carnival Cruise Line to Launch Over 50 Alaskan Itineraries in 2027 with Three Exciting Ships

Carnival Cruise Line is setting its sights on summer 2027, when three of its ships will return to Alaska, a popular destination despite the challenges posed by the pandemic. The fleet will include Carnival Spirit, Carnival Legend, and Carnival Luminosa, each offering a variety of itineraries initially tailored to meet the demand for Alaska cruising.

Before heading to Alaska, Carnival Spirit and Carnival Legend will embark on special Carnival Journeys voyages. These longer sailings will allow passengers to visit lesser-known ports and partake in diverse onboard activities. Both ships will be based in Seattle, catering to the demand for cruise travel in this scenic region.

Carnival Spirit will commence its Alaska season with 7-day itineraries following a 16-day Panama Canal Cruise, while Carnival Legend will begin similar routines shortly after completing its own Panama Canal adventure.

Carnival Luminosa, meanwhile, will operate out of San Francisco, offering longer 10-day cruises, in addition to participating in a 23-day Transpacific journey from Sydney. Her Alaska voyages will call at key ports, including Juneau, Ketchikan, and Skagway.

Similar to previous years, these summer itineraries are expected to be met with strong demand, prompting travelers to book their trips well in advance.
