TUI River Cruises Unveils Exciting New Onboard Venues for TUI Bahareya’s Upcoming Nile Adventures

TUI River Cruises has announced exciting new onboard venues for its river cruise ship, TUI Bahareya, which is set to launch its first sailing on the Nile this November. The TUI Bahareya has been fully refurbished, showcasing an Arabic-inspired design, and will host 146 guests in 74 cabins. This design focuses on versatility to enhance cultural integration and comfort for travelers.

A standout feature aboard TUI Bahareya is "Hetep," the first sauna in the Egyptian cruise fleet, along with two massage rooms, including one for couples, enhancing onboard wellness amenities for guests.

The ship’s top deck is designed as a multifunctional space akin to TUI Al Horeya, featuring a swimming pool and sun loungers. It also includes “Sofra,” which will offer light lunches during the day and transform into a reservation-only à la carte dinner venue for up to 30 guests in the evening, serving locally inspired dishes with staff dressed in traditional galabaya attire.

Guests will dine in the main restaurant "Belhana" – meaning "Bon Appétit" in Arabic – which will serve buffet-style breakfasts and lunches, while dinner will offer à la carte choices and live cooking presentations. Each voyage will incorporate a gala dinner in Belhana, highlighting regional culinary traditions.

Cultural enrichment will be a focus in "The Observatory," the ship’s main lounge. This space will feature performances from traditional Egyptian artists, including Whirling Dervishes and Nubian musicians, along with discussions led by licensed Egyptologists to deepen guests’ understanding of the region’s history. The venue will also host musical performances, film screenings, and interactive quizzes orchestrated by the cruise line’s entertainment team.
