Carnival Panorama Extends Mexican Riviera Cruises Through Spring 2028 with CCL

Carnival Cruise Line (CCL) has announced an extension of the Carnival Panorama’s deployment from Long Beach, California, now running through spring 2028. This significant expansion features over 50 newly available cruises that include itineraries alternating between 6-night and 8-night sailings along Mexico’s Pacific Riviera.

The 6-night itineraries will offer extended stays in Cabo San Lucas, providing guests the chance to immerse themselves in the local beaches, nightlife, and water sports, while also making a stop in Ensenada, a region known for its wine country and coastal attractions. On the other hand, the 8-night cruises promise a comprehensive Mexican Riviera experience, making stops in Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, Mazatlán, and Puerto Vallarta. Guests can enjoy exploring historic towns, vibrant cultural districts, waterfront dining, art galleries, and beautiful beaches.

Carnival Panorama will maintain its year-round homeporting in Long Beach, catering to West Coast travelers with this expanded schedule until at least April 2028. Since 2018, the ship has been operating voyages to Baja California and the Mexican Riviera.

This deployment extension is part of CCL’s larger strategy to enhance its regional presence. In addition to the Panorama’s operations, CCL ships such as Legend, Spirit, and Luminosa will be sailing to Alaska from Seattle and San Francisco, while Carnival Dream is set to move to New Orleans in May 2027, bolstering the company’s capacity across several North American homeports.
