MSC World Asia: Revolutionizing Onboard Entertainment with Pan-Asian Inspiration

MSC Cruises is set to enhance onboard entertainment with its new flagship, MSC World Asia, which will launch from the Mediterranean in December 2026. Positioned as the third ship in the World Class series, MSC World Asia draws inspiration from Asia’s rich culture and landscapes, aiming to provide immersive experiences for guests of all ages.

The ship will make stops at several key ports, including Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia (Rome), Messina, Naples, and Valletta during its 7-night itineraries in the winter of 2026-2027 and summer of 2027, blending traditional Mediterranean cruising with innovative entertainment options.

One of the standout features of the ship will be The Clubhouse, a family-focused retro-themed venue offering interactive activities like bumper cars, roller skating, and a LEGO zone. This area is designed to transform into a vibrant evening social hub.

Returning to MSC’s World Class offerings is Luna Park, which will undergo a comprehensive redesign. Spanning two decks, this venue will host lively game shows, themed parties, and immersive performances, complemented by dynamic lighting and audio effects.

Outdoor spaces will be reimagined with The Harbour, featuring an Asian-inspired design and attractions like the Cliffhanger, a swing ride overlooking the ocean from over 50 meters high, making MSC World Asia the exclusive vessel in Europe to boast this feature. The ship will also introduce The Tree of Life @ The Spiral, the tallest dry slide at sea, plus numerous family recreational options such as a high ropes course and water slides.

Guests can enjoy panoramic views and entertainment in the Panorama Lounge, where live performances and dance classes will be available on an expansive deck-level floor. The World Theatre, MSC’s premier performance space, will host nightly shows that include musicals and acrobatics.

At the heart of the ship, the World Promenade will serve as an open-air hub for dining and entertainment, featuring live music, a LEGO Parade, sports viewing, and delightful treats.
