TUI River Cruises Unveils Exciting New Onboard Venues for TUI Bahareya’s Nile Sailings

TUI River Cruises is set to launch newly developed onboard venues aboard the TUI Bahareya ship for its maiden voyage along the Nile in November. This completely refurbished Nile cruiser, designed with Arabic-inspired interiors, will accommodate 146 passengers across 74 cabins. The ship’s design emphasizes versatility and aligns with TUI’s commitment to cultural integration and modern comforts.

One of the main attractions is "Hetep," meaning "peace," which will feature the first sauna in the Egyptian fleet. It will also include two massage rooms, one specially designed for couples, marking a significant upgrade in wellness options available for guests.

The TUI Bahareya’s top deck is designed as a multi-functional space, similar to the TUI Al Horeya. It will feature a swimming pool, sun loungers, and a dining area named “Sofra,” which will serve light lunch options during the day and transform into a reservation-only à la carte restaurant for dinner service at night, accommodating up to 30 guests. This venue promises a dining experience with locally-inspired cuisine served by staff in traditional galabaya attire.

The main dining area, “Belhana,” which translates to “Bon Appétit” in Arabic, will host all guests for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals will be buffet-style for breakfast and lunch, while dinner will showcase à la carte options and live cooking presentations. Each cruise will culminate in a gala dinner at Belhana, featuring a multi-course menu celebrating regional culinary traditions.

“The Observatory” will serve as the primary lounge and entertainment venue, offering performances by traditional Egyptian artists such as Whirling Dervishes and Nubian musicians. Licensed Egyptologists will provide talks and insights into the historical and cultural significance of the cruise, enriching the guests’ experience. The venue will also host the cruise line’s entertainment team for musical performances, film screenings, and interactive quizzes.
