Carnival Cruise Line (CCL) has made a notable announcement regarding the Carnival Panorama, extending its deployment from Long Beach, California, through spring 2028. Over 50 new cruises have been introduced for reservations, featuring itineraries that alternate between 6‑night and 8‑night sailings along the stunning Mexican Riviera.

The 6-night itineraries include extended stops in Cabo San Lucas, allowing passengers to soak in the local beaches, nightlife, and various water sports. Additionally, these journeys make a stop in Ensenada, which is renowned for its wine country and coastal attractions. The 8‑night cruises are tailored for a comprehensive experience, calling at other key locations such as La Paz, Mazatlán, and Puerto Vallarta. These stops offer guests the chance to explore historic sites, cultural districts, exquisite dining options along the waterfront, art galleries, and beautiful beaches.

Carnival Panorama will continue to base its operations year-round from Long Beach, making this expanded cruise schedule available to West Coast travelers at least until April 2028. This deployment growth is part of CCL’s larger strategy to enhance its presence in the region. Along with the Panorama, other CCL vessels including the Carnival Legend, Carnival Spirit, and Carnival Luminosa will be sailing in Alaska from Seattle and San Francisco, while the Carnival Dream is set to shift its base to New Orleans in May 2027, solidifying the company’s capacity across multiple North American homeports.
