The expedition ship HANSEATIC nature will introduce a new route through West Africa and the Indian Ocean, departing from Hamburg and including stops at Madeira, Ghana, Mozambique, and the Seychelles. Notable highlights include the port of Takoradi, known for its cocoa industry, and Nacala in Mozambique, showcasing rich biodiversity. Guests can partake in Zodiac landings and expert-led excursions to explore these unique regions.

Another special voyage on HANSEATIC nature will travel from Cape Town to Mahe, Seychelles, over 16 days, stopping at locations like Hermanus, Durban, and Mamoudzou. The ship’s smaller size facilitates access to less-developed coastal areas and ecologically sensitive zones.

Antarctica remains a key aspect of Hapag-Lloyd’s expedition offerings, with both HANSEATIC Inspiration and HANSEATIC Spirit scheduled for extended 20 to 22-day voyages to the southern polar region. These itineraries will include landings in South Georgia, the Falkland Islands, and the Weddell Sea, supported by onboard teams of scientists, biologists, and historians.

The luxury vessel MS EUROPA will connect West and South Africa with various Indian Ocean destinations. Key itineraries starting in Hamburg will feature stops including Tenerife and Cape Town, with optional excursions focused on safaris and fine dining experiences. The ship will also embark on a festive season cruise from Mauritius to Sri Lanka, stopping at the Seychelles and Maldives.

MS EUROPA 2 will launch its season in northern Europe, exploring the Baltic and Norway before heading to New York. Following this, it will navigate a southern route through the Gulf of Mexico and southeastern U.S., visiting new ports like Galveston and Tampa, before concluding with a Caribbean itinerary that features well-known destinations and a Panama Canal transit.
