TUI River Cruises Unveils Exciting New Onboard Venues for TUI Bahareya’s Upcoming Nile Sailings

TUI River Cruises has announced exciting new onboard venues for the TUI Bahareya, set to embark on its first voyage along the Nile in November. This Nile cruiser, which has undergone a complete refurbishment, features an Arabic-inspired interior and is designed to accommodate 146 passengers in 74 cabins. The ship’s design prioritizes versatility, aiming to blend cultural integration with modern comfort.

A standout feature is the wellness center named "Hetep," which means "peace" in Arabic. This facility will be the first of its kind in the Egyptian fleet, offering a sauna, two massage rooms, one specifically for couples, enhancing the onboard experience significantly.

On the top deck, a multi-functional space awaits guests, reminiscent of the setup found on TUI Al Horeya. It will boast a swimming pool, sun loungers, and a dining area called “Sofra,” which will serve light fare during the day and transform into a reservation-only à la carte restaurant in the evening, accommodating up to 30 guests. Sofra will highlight locally inspired cuisine, with staff dressed in traditional galabaya attire providing service.

The main dining venue, “Belhana,” takes its name from the Arabic phrase for “Bon Appétit.” It will host all guests for meals throughout the day, with buffet offerings for breakfast and lunch. Dinner will feature à la carte selections and live cooking presentations. Each voyage will culminate in a gala dinner in Belhana, showcasing regional culinary traditions through a multi-course dining experience.

“The Observatory,” the ship’s main lounge and event space, will host a variety of entertainment and cultural programming. This includes performances by traditional Egyptian artists and talks by licensed Egyptologists, offering guests rich historical and cultural insights to complement their itineraries. The venue will also feature entertainment from the cruise line’s in-house team, ranging from musical performances to interactive quizzes.
