Star Voyager Announces Limited-Run Weekend Voyages Between Hong Kong and Xiamen

Star Cruises has announced the introduction of six exclusive weekend cruises aboard the Star Voyager, embarking from Ocean Terminal in Hong Kong during autumn 2025. These two-night roundtrip voyages will set sail on Friday evenings, heading to Xiamen.

The itineraries are planned for September 19 and 26; October 3, 17, and 31; and November 14, 2025, departing at 20:00 on Friday and returning by 14:00 on Sunday. These targeted weekend getaways aim to accommodate travelers looking for a brief escape without interfering with their regular schedules, and they will replace previously scheduled Weekend High Seas Cruises.

Michael Goh, president of StarDream Cruises, explained that this new route combines convenience, comfort, and the chance to explore. Passengers will arrive in Xiamen after an overnight journey, allowing them ample time to enjoy the city’s coastal beauty and cultural sites. Attractions include Gulangyu Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its colonial architecture and pedestrian-friendly streets, Nanputuo Temple, and Zhongshan Road, famous for local dining and shopping.

Onboard, the Star Voyager will feature standard amenities like specialty dining, live entertainment, spa services, and various lounges, catering to both leisure and cultural interests.

Reservations for these limited-capacity cruises will open on August 5, 2025, with promotional rates starting at HK$1,300 per person (based on twin-share accommodation) and an early booking discount available until September 15. More information can be found on the cruise operator’s website.
