TUI River Cruises Unveils Exciting New Onboard Venues for TUI Bahareya’s Upcoming Nile Sailings
TUI River Cruises has announced exciting new onboard venues for the TUI Bahareya, set to embark on its inaugural voyage on the Nile in November. The ship has undergone a complete refurbishment, reflecting Arabic-inspired interior design and accommodating 146 passengers in 74 cabins. Its design aims to combine versatility while promoting cultural integration and modern comfort.
One of the standout features is the "Hetep" wellness area, marking the first sauna on a vessel within the Egyptian fleet, equipped with two massage rooms, including one for couples. This addition significantly enhances the wellness options available to guests.
On the top deck, a multi-functional space includes a swimming pool, sun loungers, and a venue named “Sofra,” offering light lunches and transforming into a reservation-only à la carte restaurant for dinner, catering to 30 guests with a focus on local cuisine served by staff dressed in traditional galabaya.
The main dining area, “Belhana,” which translates to “Bon Appétit” in Arabic, will host all guests for meals throughout the day. It will offer buffet-style breakfasts and lunches, with à la carte dinner options highlighting live cooking demonstrations. Each voyage will feature a gala dinner in Belhana, showcasing a multi-course menu rooted in regional culinary traditions.
Cultural and entertainment activities will take place in “The Observatory," the ship’s main lounge and event space. Guests will experience performances from traditional Egyptian artists, including Whirling Dervishes and Nubian musicians. Additionally, licensed Egyptologists will lead talks that provide historical and cultural insights, adding depth to the cruise experience, while the entertainment team will offer musical performances and interactive quizzes.
