Carnival Cruise Line Unveils Exciting 2027 Alaskan Season with Three Ships

CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has announced an impressive deployment for its 2027 Alaska season, featuring three ships: Carnival Spirit, Carnival Legend, and Carnival Luminosa. These vessels will operate out of Seattle, WA and San Francisco, CA, providing over 50 summer sailings with unique repositioning voyages in spring and fall.

The 2,800-passenger Carnival Luminosa will commence its journey from Sydney on April 6, 2027, embarking on a 23-day repositioning cruise. This voyage features stops in various ports, including Suva (Fiji), Moorea, Papeete, and Honolulu before reaching San Francisco.

Starting May 3rd, Carnival Luminosa will offer 10-day Alaska itineraries that include calls at Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord, and Prince Rupert. While docked in San Francisco, the Luminosa will also provide 4-day trips to Ensenada.

Meanwhile, the 2,700-passenger Carnival Legend will reposition from Tampa to Seattle on April 4th, traveling through the Panama Canal and stopping in Cartagena, Santa Marta, Acapulco, and Cabo San Lucas. Once in Seattle, Carnival Legend will kick off its 22 week-long Alaska voyages starting April 20th, featuring similar key ports as Carnival Luminosa.

Carnival Spirit will initiate its season on March 20th with a 9-night Western Caribbean itinerary from Mobile. It will then transition to a 16-night Panama Canal voyage before embarking on a 15-night Hawaiian cruise from Seattle on April 14th. Spirit will also conduct 20 week-long Alaska sailings beginning April 29th, visiting essential ports like Juneau, Ketchikan, and Skagway.
