Oceania Cruises Introduces Gérard Bertrand Wine Pairing Experience on Board

Oceania Cruises has unveiled a new dining experience in collaboration with renowned French winemaker Gérard Bertrand. This unique program, known as the Gérard Bertrand Food and Wine Pairing Experience, was launched aboard the recently inaugurated Allura on July 18, 2025, during its inaugural voyage. The program is set to expand to Oceania’s Vista ship in September 2025, with plans for additional rollouts to Marina and Riviera in 2026.

The dining experience features a six-course gourmet menu expertly paired with Bertrand’s biodynamic and sustainably produced wines, showcasing the exquisite varietals from the Languedoc-Roussillon region. Guests enjoy the intimate setting of Jacques, the ship’s French specialty restaurant, which accommodates a maximum of 40 diners per seating.

The carefully curated menu includes sophisticated dishes like potato fritters with Ossetra caviar, duck and foie gras pâté, and braised beef short rib. The meal concludes with a decadent Callebaut gold chocolate dessert. Wine selections include Bertrand’s flagship offerings, such as the ‘Clos du Temple’ rosé and the 1975 Les Vignerons de Maury Tuile Vieille Reserve, emphasizing the sustainable winemaking philosophies that resonate with Oceania’s culinary focus.

Priced at $175 per person, excluding gratuities, this opulent dining experience will be available on select days throughout each voyage.
