Celebrity Beyond Adjusts Caribbean Itineraries Following Reduced Cruising Speed

Celebrity Cruises has announced changes to the Caribbean itineraries for its ship, Celebrity Beyond, due to ongoing speed limitations. The issues arose after a sailing was canceled on July 20, 2025, requiring the vessel to undergo repairs at a shipyard in Freeport, Bahamas. Celebrity Beyond resumed its service on July 27, 2025, from Miami; however, speed-related problems have persisted, prompting the cruise line to modify upcoming port schedules.

Passengers scheduled to cruise in August, September, and October 2025 have already been informed of these changes. One specific alteration affects the September 7, 2025 itinerary, where the cruise will now stop in Falmouth, Jamaica, on Wednesday from 08:00 to 16:00 and in Cozumel, Mexico, on Friday from 11:00 to 19:30. Additionally, the call in George Town, Grand Cayman, has been adjusted to now operate from 07:00 to 16:00. Guests with pre-purchased excursions will have their bookings automatically updated to match the new schedule.

Celebrity Cruises emphasized that these modifications have been made to ensure a reliable and safe sailing experience for guests. The next planned dry dock for Celebrity Beyond is scheduled for November 2026, marking its first major overhaul since its launch in spring 2022. The ship will not be available for passengers from November 1 to 17, 2026, as this time will be set aside for maintenance.
