Seabourn Unveils 2027 Grand Expedition: Journeying from the Arctic to the Antarctic

Seabourn announced its inaugural expedition-style Grand Voyage, called “Pole to Pole: Grand Expedition,” set for 94 days from August 17 to November 19, 2027. This cruise aboard the Seabourn Venture will navigate a route measuring 20,500 nautical miles from the Arctic to the Antarctic Peninsula.

The journey will kick off with an overnight stay in Reykjavik, Iceland, followed by a charter flight to Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. The itinerary is packed with 60 days dedicated to expedition activities and includes visits to 14 countries and territories. Highlights include six days traversing the Northwest Passage, five days in Antarctica, as well as time spent in South Georgia, the Falkland Islands, and a new three-day landing program on Ellesmere Island.

The voyage concludes in Ushuaia, Argentina, where passengers will board a flight to Buenos Aires. Reservations are open to previous guests now, with wider bookings starting on August 13, 2025.

Seabourn Venture is designed to operate in remote environments, featuring customized equipment that includes two submarines, Zodiacs, and kayaks. Onboard amenities are enhanced with a Starlink satellite connection and luxurious room features like private verandas and heated wardrobes. Guests will also have access to a 23-member expedition team and various educational and leisure activities.

Additionally, a shorter 82-day sailing will be available, beginning August 29, 2027. Guests on either cruise will enjoy premium experiences, including business class air travel, up to $10,000 in onboard credits, Starlink Wi-Fi, complimentary laundry service, and selected expedition activities.
