Villa Vie Makes Waves: Expanding Horizons in Asia

Villa Vie Residences is gearing up for its exciting entry into Asia and the Far East, with the Odyssey making its inaugural Pacific crossing this August. After concluding its Alaska itinerary in late July, the residential vessel is currently en route to Hakodate, Japan, set to arrive on August 7, 2025, after 11 days at sea.

Once in Japan, the Odyssey will embark on a series of stops, visiting notable locations including Sendai, Shizuoka, Kochi, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Fukuoka, and Jeju Island. Key highlights of this journey include a four-day stay in Yokohama, conveniently allowing guests to explore nearby Tokyo, as well as a three-day visit to Kobe, which serves as a gateway to the historical cities of Osaka and Kyoto.

The ship’s Japanese journey will soon take it to Amami, Ishigaki, and Naha, wrapping up its schedule in Japan by early September. Following Japan, the Odyssey will head south, visiting various destinations in Taiwan and the Philippines, including Keelung, Anping, Subic Bay, Manila, Boracay Island, and Puerto Princesa.

The Odyssey is poised to continue its exploration of Asia, with planned ports of call that include Guam, Micronesia, Palau, Indonesia, Australia, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea, extending its itinerary through December. Additionally, the ship will visit Wallis and Futuna, Samoa, American Samoa, and French Polynesia before the year concludes.

As the Odyssey wraps up its travels in the South Pacific in early 2026, it will explore even more destinations in Australia, alongside New Caledonia, Tonga, the Cook Islands, and beyond.

Recently, Villa Vie achieved a significant milestone by sailing to its 100th port since launching in late 2024. This notable event occurred during a stop at Icy Strait Point in Alaska. Prior to reaching Asia, the ship visited several regions including Africa, the Atlantic, the Caribbean, South America, and the U.S. West Coast, before making the significant shift to the Far East.
