ACL American Cruise Lines Unveils Revolutionary War Cruise in Expanded 2026 Itinerary
American Cruise Lines has announced a new itinerary for 2026 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the USA. The 32-day Revolutionary War Cruise will take place from October 8 to November 5, 2026, running from Albany, NY, to Washington, DC. This itinerary becomes the fifth addition to the cruise line’s extended offerings for the year.
The cruise aims to retrace the key events of the American Revolution, featuring expert-led programming aboard. Throughout the journey, guests will experience the beauty of the Hudson River and segments of the East Coast, timed perfectly to coincide with the autumn foliage. Notable ports of call include New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Annapolis, Newport, Plymouth, Yorktown, Sleepy Hollow, among others. Highlights of the journey include historical attractions like West Point, Mount Vernon, and Virginia’s historic triangle, encompassing Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown.
Travelers will enjoy accommodations aboard three of the newest vessels in the fleet—American Legend, American Patriot, and American Pioneer. Additionally, guests will be hosted at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, DC, with exclusive access to the Smithsonian’s Entertainment Nation exhibit, a partnership supported by American Cruise Lines.
This newly introduced cruise complements the extended cruise program unveiled earlier in 2025, which also includes four other long-duration cruises: the 52-day Great United States Cruise, the 51-day Spring Across America Cruise, the 55-day Great American Fall Foliage Cruise, and the 36-day Civil War Battlefields Cruise.
All extended cruises come with comprehensive packages featuring cruise concierge service, hotel stays, flights between segments, shore excursions, onboard entertainment, meals and beverages (including alcohol), gratuities, port charges, and Wi-Fi. Reservations are now open for those interested.
