FBI Launches Investigation into Alleged Sexual Assault on Carnival Breeze Cruise Ship
The FBI has opened an investigation into an alleged sexual assault that occurred on the Carnival Breeze during a four-day cruise from Galveston, Texas, from July 24 to July 28, 2025. The cruise included a stop in Cozumel, and the allegations were reported to federal authorities upon their return to Galveston.
FBI Houston confirmed their involvement and stated that a Maritime Liaison Agent is leading the investigation in collaboration with the U.S. Coast Guard, Customs and Border Protection, and Carnival Cruise Line. Details about the incident remain scarce as the investigation is ongoing.
Carnival Cruise Line has not publicly commented on the matter beyond confirming that they have reported the incident to federal authorities for further action.
