American Cruise Lines has announced a new itinerary set to launch in 2026 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States. The 32-day Revolutionary War Cruise will take travelers on a historical journey from Albany, NY, to Washington, DC, departing on October 8 and returning on November 5, 2026. This cruise is the fifth addition to the line’s extended offerings for that year.

The itinerary is designed to follow the timeline of the American Revolution, featuring expert-led presentations and onboard programming. Guests will navigate the scenic Hudson River and other parts of the East Coast during the vibrant fall season, showcasing the changing leaves. Key ports of call include New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Annapolis, Newport, Plymouth, and Yorktown, among others. Noteworthy stops along the way include historic sites like West Point, Mount Vernon, and Virginia’s historical triangle, which comprises Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown.

Passengers will enjoy travel aboard three of the newest ships in the American Cruise Lines fleet: the American Legend, the American Patriot, and the American Pioneer. The cruise package also includes a luxurious stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, DC, and access to the Smithsonian’s Entertainment Nation exhibit, supported by the cruise line.

In addition to this new itinerary, American Cruise Lines has announced a comprehensive extended cruise program that includes four additional long-duration options: the 52-day Great United States Cruise, the 51-day Spring Across America Cruise, the 55-day Great American Fall Foliage Cruise, and the 36-day Civil War Battlefields Cruise. Each of these extended itineraries features a range of services, including concierge support, hotel accommodations, flights between cruise segments, shore excursions, onboard entertainment, meals and beverages (including alcohol), gratuities, port charges, and Wi-Fi.
