Celebrity Beyond Adjusts Caribbean Itineraries Due to Slower Cruising Speed

Celebrity Cruises has announced alterations to the upcoming Caribbean itineraries for the Celebrity Beyond due to ongoing limitations with the ship’s maximum cruising speed. These adjustments follow the cancellation of the vessel’s sailing on July 20, 2025, during which the ship was docked for repairs at a shipyard in Freeport, Bahamas. After completing maintenance, Celebrity Beyond resumed operations from Miami on July 27.

Despite the restoration of service, speed-related issues have continued, prompting the company to revise the port schedules for future sailings to ensure operational reliability and passenger safety. Passengers scheduled to sail in August, September, and October 2025 have been informed of the changes to port call dates for both Eastern and Western Caribbean trips.

For example, the itinerary on September 7th has been modified to include a stop in Falmouth, Jamaica, on Wednesday from 08:00 to 16:00, and in Cozumel, Mexico, on Friday from 11:00 to 19:30. Additionally, the call at George Town, Grand Cayman, has been rescheduled with new hours of operation from 07:00 to 16:00. Guests who have booked shore excursions will see their reservations automatically updated according to the new timetable.

Celebrity Cruises has communicated to guests that these changes were made to guarantee a smooth and safe sailing experience while sustaining the integrity of the schedule. Looking ahead, the next scheduled dry dock for Celebrity Beyond will occur in November 2026, marking its first major refurbishment since its launch in spring 2022. The ship will not be available for passenger service from November 1 to 17, 2026, as this period has been designated for maintenance.
