
FBI Launches Investigation into Alleged Sexual Assault on Carnival Breeze
The FBI has launched an investigation into a reported sexual assault that allegedly took place aboard the Carnival Breeze during a four-day cruise from Galveston, Texas, which occurred from July 24 to July 28, 2025.
The cruise included a stop in Cozumel, and the incident was reported to federal authorities upon the ship’s return to Galveston. The FBI confirmed that they are aware of the allegations and stated that their Maritime Liaison Agent, based in the Texas City Resident Agency, is collaborating on the investigation with the U.S. Coast Guard, Customs and Border Protection, and Carnival Cruise Line.
As this investigation remains active, no further details have been disclosed. Carnival Cruise Line has not made an official statement regarding the matters, apart from confirming that they have notified the appropriate federal authorities for follow-up.
