Scheduled to begin voyages on August 16, the Star of the Seas joins Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas at Port Canaveral, which is now recognized as the second busiest cruise terminal worldwide, following PortMiami. She highlighted that having such a significant addition like Star of the Seas emphasizes the terminal’s influence and the appeal it holds for travelers seeking an extensive onboard experience.

John Murray, CEO of the Canaveral Port Authority, also noted that the increasing number of larger ships has contributed to the continual double-digit growth observed over the past several years. The Star of the Seas boasts countless activities for guests, including the Crown’s Edge aerial adventure course, rock climbing walls, miniature golf, and even ice skating shows. It’s designed with eight neighborhoods catering to different activities and age groups, ensuring that all passengers find their niche.

In addition to the attractions and amenities on the ship, the company plans for Star of the Seas to sail alternating seven-night itineraries in the Eastern and Western Caribbean, often stopping at visiting Royal Caribbean’s private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay.
