Royal Princess Announces Exciting Southeast Asia Itinerary for October 2026

Princess Cruises has announced that the Royal Princess will make its inaugural Southeast Asia deployment in October 2026, with Singapore designated as its homeport for two initial voyages before it heads to Australia.

On September 19, 2026, following its season in Alaska, the Royal Princess will kick off a 26-night Southeast Asia–Japan–Alaska Grand Adventure Cruise. Departing from Seattle, the cruise will include stops at Juneau, College Fjord, and Whittier, along with a scenic journey past Hubbard Glacier. The ship will continue on to Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Vietnam, culminating with its first arrival in Singapore on October 16. Passengers can also join a second segment starting on October 4 from Yokohama, which will visit Shimizu, Osaka, Keelung (Taipei), Hong Kong, and Chan May (Vietnam) before reaching Singapore.

When in Singapore, the Royal Princess—spanning 142,714 gross tons and capable of accommodating 3,560 guests—will undergo a two-week dry dock maintenance period. It will then commence a 9-night Southeast Asia cruise on November 1, visiting Ho Chi Minh City and offering an overnight stay in Bangkok before heading to Koh Samui. Following that, a 13-night Southeast Asia cruise will depart on November 10, with a stop in Lombok, Indonesia. These two sailings can be combined into a 22-night Southeast Asia & Australia itinerary, which continues to Darwin, Yorkeys Knob, and Brisbane, reaching Sydney on November 25.

Launched in 2013, the Royal Princess features signature elements such as the glass-enclosed "SeaWalk" walkways, several swimming pools, a dancing water fountain, and diverse dining options, underscoring its prominent place in Princess Cruises’ premium fleet.

This deployment is part of Princess Cruises’ broader expansion in Asia. The Discovery Princess is set for her maiden call in Singapore in October for a short Malaysian cruise, while Sapphire Princess and Diamond Princess will homeport in Japan for the first time in 2027 after a season in Singapore from December 2026 to February 2027. Additionally, the Diamond Princess will return to Singapore between December 2025 and February 2026 for sailings that showcase destinations across Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam, which highlights the cruise line’s growing presence in the region.
