Viking Reveals Exciting Itineraries for the 2027–2028 World Cruise

On August 14, 2025, Viking announced its World Cruise program for 2027–2028, featuring the Viking Vesta. The cruise is set to embark from Fort Lauderdale on December 28, 2027, for a remarkable 142-day journey. This voyage will visit 62 ports across 31 countries on six continents, concluding in London on May 18, 2028. Notably, the itinerary includes 16 overnight stays, offering passengers extended opportunities for exploration at various ports.

The cruise will initiate in Central America, followed by a transit through the Panama Canal, and a series of stops along the North American Pacific coast. From there, the ship will navigate across the Pacific to Hawaii and French Polynesia, then travel to New Zealand and Australia, before journeying through Southeast Asia and Africa, ultimately reaching Western Europe. Ports of call feature Sydney, Singapore, Zanzibar, Cape Town, and Casablanca, among others.

For those interested in longer itineraries, Viking also provides alternatives. The 170-day Viking World Voyage III will extend past London to Northern Europe and Scandinavia, wrapping up in Stockholm. Additionally, the 153-day Viking World Voyage IV will start from Los Angeles and finish in Stockholm. A shorter option is the 125-day Viking World Discoveries itinerary, which departs from Los Angeles and concludes in London.

Viking’s enrichment program includes onboard lectures and cultural programming through its Viking Resident Historian® series. Shore excursions are included at each port, with optional overland tours available, featuring multi-day experiences in regions such as Australia’s interior, India’s Golden Triangle, and South Africa’s Kruger National Park.
