Viking Unveils Exciting Itineraries for 2027-2028 World Cruise Season

On August 14, 2025, Viking announced its exciting 2027–2028 World Cruise itinerary, set to embark from Fort Lauderdale on December 28, 2027. The Viking Vesta will undertake a remarkable 142-day journey, visiting 62 ports across 31 countries and spanning six continents, culminating in London on May 18, 2028. This cruise is designed for exploration, featuring 16 overnight stays in various ports.

The voyage will kick off in Central America, featuring a transit through the Panama Canal and a series of stops along the North American Pacific coast. Passengers can look forward to crossing the Pacific Ocean, with destinations including Hawaii and French Polynesia. The itinerary continues through New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia, and Africa, before heading to Western Europe. Notable ports of call include Sydney, Singapore, Zanzibar, Cape Town, and Casablanca.

For those interested in extended voyages, Viking offers additional options. The 170-day Viking World Voyage III will continue beyond London to Northern Europe and Scandinavia, finishing in Stockholm. Meanwhile, the 153-day Viking World Voyage IV will depart from Los Angeles to Stockholm. There is also a 125-day Viking World Discoveries itinerary, which will also start in Los Angeles and conclude in London.

Viking’s enrichment program enhances the cruising experience with onboard lectures and cultural programming through the Viking Resident Historian® series, in addition to complimentary shore excursions in every port.
