CCL-Carnival Launches CHEERS!: A Refreshing Non-Alcoholic Beverage Package for Everyone
In response to guests seeking non-alcoholic drink options, CCL-Carnival Cruise Line unveiled the CHEERS! Zero Proof beverage package. This package, available for pre-cruise purchase on Carnival.com, is priced at $29.99 per person per day if booked ahead of the cruise, and $34.99 once onboard.
The CHEERS! Zero Proof package offers a wide variety of unlimited, alcohol-free beverages. This includes Coca-Cola sodas, standard juices, still and sparkling bottled water (including coconut water), premium coffees and teas, energy drinks, milkshakes, smoothies, protein shakes, non-alcoholic frozen drinks, alcohol-free beer, zero-proof cocktails, and sparkling wine.
Carnival’s president, Christine Duffy, shared that the creation of this package reflects the demands of guests for a more extensive non-alcoholic selection. This new option parallels the flexibility of the existing CHEERS! package, but without alcohol.
As with Carnival’s other beverage packages, the CHEERS! Zero Proof must be purchased for the entire cruise. Guests can enjoy one drink per order and cannot transfer the package. Some offerings, such as alcohol-free beer and zero-proof cocktails, have a minimum age requirement of 21. However, the package is only applicable onboard and not at port locations like Celebration Key and Half Moon Cay.
This launch makes it Carnival’s fourth beverage package, adding to the Bottomless Bubbles (soda), Cruise the Vineyard (wine), and the original CHEERS! package that includes alcoholic drinks.
