Australia’s leading small-ship expedition cruise company, Coral Expeditions, has launched its 2027 Kimberley cruise season, offering 47 scheduled departures across its three ships: Coral Adventurer, Coral Discoverer, and Coral Geographer.

The cruise season spans from March to September and continues Coral Expeditions’ legacy of over 40 years in passenger shipping in this unique and remote maritime region.

A highlight of the season is the classic 10-night “Kimberley Cruise” itinerary, navigating between Darwin and Broome. This journey offers breathtaking views of the King George River’s twin cascades, as well as coastal landscapes rich in indigenous rock art and colorful reefs. As the season progresses, passengers may also hear the songs of humpback whales on their migration north.

This year, a new itinerary titled "Coral Frontiers and Kimberley Icons" will also be available, featuring a 10-night adventure that combines the highlights of the Kimberley with visits to Rowley Shoals Marine Park, Ashmore Reef, and Scott Reef, perfectly timed for the late-spring dry season.

Additionally, a special voyage created in collaboration with the Australian Geographic Society, called “A Lens on Nature: The Kimberley,” is scheduled for July 20th and August 27th, 2027. This experience targets photographers and storytellers eager to capture the stunning interplay of light and wild landscapes.

Coral Expeditions has made traveling more accessible for solo adventurers by increasing single-cabin availability and lowering single supplements. They also offer greater flexibility for private groups and families looking to customize their travel experience.
