Carnival Firenze Sets Sail in the Caribbean: New Homeports in Miami and NYC

Carnival Cruise Line has announced the redeployment of the Vista-class vessel, Carnival Firenze, for the 2026–2027 season. The ship will offer itineraries throughout the Caribbean, the Bahamas, New York City, and South America, marking a strategic expansion in CCL’s cruise offerings.

The South American program will kick off in January 2027, with voyages departing from Long Beach/LA, San Antonio, and Buenos Aires. The inaugural voyage on January 4 will be part of the Carnival Journeys program, featuring a 14-day itinerary that includes stops in Acapulco, Callao, and Ecuadorian ports, culminating in Buenos Aires. The program wraps up with a 15-day repositioning cruise back to Miami, strategically timed to coincide with the Carnival festival in Rio de Janeiro, before sailing northward through select Caribbean ports.

Starting in late February 2027, Carnival Firenze will begin a spring season from Miami, offering 4- to 7-night cruises covering various Caribbean destinations, including Oranjestad, Fort-de-France, and exclusive ports like Half Moon Cay and Isla Tropicale in Honduras.

In May 2027, the ship will reposition to New York City to operate summer voyages from Manhattan to the Caribbean and the Bahamas. While specific details are still under wraps, these sailings will include a mix of roundtrips tailored to East Coast travelers.
