Carnival Firenze Set to Sail the Caribbean: Homeported in Miami and NYC!

Carnival Cruise Line has announced that the Vista-class ship, Carnival Firenze, will be redeployed for the 2026–2027 season with itineraries including the Caribbean, the Bahamas, New York City, and South America. This deployment aims to diversify the cruise line’s offerings with both short coastal voyages and longer journeys focused on cultural experiences.

Starting January 2027, Carnival Firenze will begin its South American program, departing from Long Beach on January 4th. This voyage is part of the Carnival Journeys program, which features 14-day itineraries visiting notable ports such as Acapulco, Callao, and various locations in Ecuador. Additional sailings will also explore Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego, culminating in Buenos Aires.

The South American program will conclude with a 15-day repositioning voyage from Buenos Aires to Miami, strategically timed to align with the Carnival festival in Rio de Janeiro. After this, beginning in late February 2027, the ship will operate a spring schedule from Miami featuring voyages ranging from 4 to 7 nights, covering the Bahamas, Eastern, Western, and Southern Caribbean, along with destinations in Central America.

In May 2027, Carnival Firenze will move to New York City, initiating summer sailings that will return to the Caribbean and the Bahamas. The details are still being finalized, but the company plans these voyages to cater to East Coast travelers with a variety of duration and destination options.
