Celebrating a Decade of Voyage: Hamburg Cruise Days Set for 10th Edition in September 2025
The 10th Hamburg Cruise Days is set to take place from September 12 to 14, 2025, celebrating maritime festivities at the Port of Hamburg, Germany. The event will feature multiple cruise ships and include a spectacular parade on Saturday night, showcasing illuminated vessels navigating the Elbe River, complemented by music and fireworks. Visitors can enjoy a diverse range of culinary options and entertainment.
In conjunction with the festival, the Seatrade Europe trade fair will start on September 10, opening its doors to both industry professionals and the public for the first time. Organizers anticipate over 250 exhibitors and around 3,500 delegates from more than 90 countries at this event. The conference, themed "Future Forward," will address technological and infrastructure advancements in the cruise sector. Additionally, a new initiative, “Destination Discovery Friday,” will grant access to the fair for up to 500 consumers on September 12.
The Blue Port Hamburg light installation will enhance the festival atmosphere from September 10 to 28. Designed by Hamburg artist Michael Batz, this project will illuminate port structures, bridges, ships, and Elbe-side buildings in striking blue light, coinciding with the 140th anniversary of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA).
The previous Hamburg Cruise Days in 2023 saw impressive attendance, with over 250,000 visitors and the port achieving a record of 1.2 million cruise passengers.
