Tragic Incident: Cruise Ship Passenger Dies After Fall During Alaskan Hike

A tragic incident occurred in Alaska when a 32-year-old cruise passenger from Texas, Britian Pool, was found dead after an accident while hiking on Mount Roberts. The Alaska Department of Public Safety reported that Pool fell approximately 8:10 p.m. on Tuesday. Another hiker, also a cruise passenger, sustained minor injuries and was rescued by Juneau Mountain Rescue.

Authorities confirmed that Pool’s body was recovered further down the mountain using drones, and he was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries from the fall. His remains were taken to the state’s Medical Examiner’s Office for identification.
