Celestyal Cruises Set to Launch Two Ships in the Red Sea and Persian Gulf for Winter 2025-2026

Celestyal Cruises has confirmed its dedication to the Persian/Arabian Gulf by deploying two ships, Celestyal Journey and Celestyal Discovery, starting from December 2025. This move signifies a 211% increase in capacity compared to the original Gulf program scheduled for 2024-2025.

In this deployment update, the cruise line has altered two repositioning voyages, transforming what were initially 14-night "Ancient Athens to Amazing Abu Dhabi" itineraries into 7-night journeys between Athens and Jeddah.

Celestyal Journey will stop at ports including Marmaris, Port Said, Sharm el Sheikh, and Safaga, before concluding its journey in Jeddah. Meanwhile, Celestyal Discovery will visit Kusadasi, Sharm el Sheikh, and Safaga, with both ships offering shorter, 6-night segments starting from Turkish ports.

Guests who had booked the original 14-night voyages are anticipated to face minimal disruptions, with some port changes or adjustments to shorter itineraries being made. Following their arrival in Jeddah, both ships will proceed to Abu Dhabi in time to kick off their Arabian Gulf seasons.

Celestyal Journey will launch with a Grand Prix cruise on December 6th, 2025, followed by a regular "Desert Days" 7-night itinerary roundtrip from Doha, visiting Sir Bani Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, and Dubai (including an overnight stay).

Celestyal Discovery will make its regional debut on December 12th, 2025, initiating new 3-, 4-, and 7-night "Iconic Arabia" voyages from Abu Dhabi, covering destinations like Doha, Khasab, Dubai, and Sir Bani Yas, as well as making first-time visits to Ras Al Khaimah.

Celestyal’s leadership has indicated that this enhanced program is a response to positive feedback received from the previous season and aims to further highlight Egypt’s attractions, expand regional partnerships, and meet the growing demand in the Gulf market.
