StarDream Cruises Launches Exciting Pickleball Facilities on Genting Dream and Star Navigator
StarDream Cruises has announced the addition of pickleball facilities onboard two of its cruise ships, Genting Dream and Star Navigator, in response to the sport’s growing popularity in Asia and worldwide.
The Genting Dream will feature two pickleball courts converted from the existing basketball courts. Passengers embarking from Singapore beginning September 21, 2025, can enjoy these facilities during short trips of two to three nights to destinations such as Melaka, Penang, and Phuket, as well as on a longer 5-night cruise to South and North Bali scheduled for November 30, 2025.
On the other hand, Star Navigator will have a single pickleball court and is set to introduce pickleball on September 26, 2025. The ship will operate roundtrip cruises from Keelung to Japan’s Okinawa and Kyushu, as well as to South Korea’s Jeju and Busan. From November 16, 2025, to January 30, 2026, Star Navigator will be homeported in Kaohsiung, offering itineraries ranging from 2 to 5 nights that include ports in Okinawa, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
Both Genting Dream and Star Navigator will integrate these new pickleball facilities into their seasonal voyages throughout Asia.
