Star Clippers Announces Exciting Grand Voyages for 2026-2027 Season

Star Clippers has unveiled its Grand Voyages schedule for the 2026-2027 season, presenting over 50 sailings across its fleet of tall ships: Star Clipper, Star Flyer, and Royal Clipper. This upcoming program will cover a wide range of destinations in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Atlantic, featuring transatlantic crossings, winter Caribbean itineraries, and additional port calls.

For summer 2026, the Mediterranean offerings include several new ports, such as Ouranoupoli (Greece), Barletta, Monopoli, Crotone, and Pesaro (Italy), along with Sibenik (Croatia) and Gythio (Greece). These locations enable closer access to scenic bays and historic towns that larger cruise ships cannot reach.

In the winter of 2026-2027, Star Clippers is launching new 7-night roundtrips from St John’s, Antigua, on the Star Clipper, as well as a 10-night itinerary from Oranjestad, Aruba. The schedule heavily features St George’s (Grenada) as a homeport, with 10- to 11-night voyages set to explore the Southern Caribbean, including stops at Carriacou, Tobago Cays, and other islands in the Grenadines.

Transatlantic crossings are also part of the upcoming itinerary. Royal Clipper will journey from Lisbon to Bridgetown in October 2026, while Star Flyer will sail from Las Palmas to St. Maarten in mid-November, and Star Clipper will also make the crossing from Las Palmas to Bridgetown before transitioning to Caribbean routes.

The Mediterranean itineraries will highlight themed and boutique sailing options, with routes connecting iconic ports such as Rome, Venice, and Athens. Some of these cruises will even dock in Venice’s Grand Canal and visit lesser-known destinations like Sibenik, Otranto, Pesaro, and Gythio. Many of these shorter cruises, ranging from 3 to 11 nights, allow guests to experience tall-ship sailing while visiting UNESCO heritage sites and historic locales.

Star Clippers’ new routing emphasizes exploration and the classic allure of tall-ship sailing. Passengers can expect fewer nights at sea and more time spent in port, with an emphasis on anchoring in smaller harbors and visiting ports that necessitate tendering or anchoring rather than large cruise terminals.
