Star Clippers Unveils Exciting Grand Voyages for 2026-2027
Star Clippers has announced its schedule for the 2026-2027 Grand Voyages, featuring over 50 sailings on its three tall ships: Star Clipper, Star Flyer, and Royal Clipper. The new itineraries will navigate through the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and the Atlantic, including transatlantic crossings, winter Caribbean sailings, and a wider selection of ports of call.
For the summer of 2026, the Mediterranean routes will introduce several new ports, such as Ouranoupoli (Greece), Barletta, Monopoli, Crotone, and Pesaro in Italy, alongside Sibenik in Croatia and Gythio in Greece. These smaller ports enable closer access to hidden bays and historic coastal towns that larger cruise ships typically overlook.
In the winter of 2026-2027, the program will feature new 7-night roundtrips from St John’s, Antigua aboard the Star Clipper, as well as a 10-night itinerary starting from Oranjestad, Aruba. The homeport of St George’s (Grenada) will be a focal point, offering 10- to 11-night sailings to Southern Caribbean ports including Carriacou, Tobago Cays, and other islands in the Grenadines.
The schedule will also include transatlantic crossings, with Royal Clipper sailing from Lisbon to Bridgetown in October 2026, Star Flyer from Las Palmas to St. Maarten in mid-November, and Star Clipper crossing the Atlantic from Las Palmas to Bridgetown before switching to routes in the Caribbean.
Mediterranean itineraries will offer boutique and themed sailings, where Star Clipper and Royal Clipper will journey between major ports like Rome, Venice, and Athens, while also stopping at lesser-known destinations. These shorter cruises, ranging from 3 to 11 nights, allow passengers to experience tall-ship sailing, visit UNESCO World Heritage sites, explore historic cities, and enjoy cultural experiences.
The revised routing aims to offer more exploration and the charm of traditional tall-ship sailing with fewer nights at sea and more time spent in port, focusing on smaller harbors and locations that necessitate tendering, rather than the large cruise terminals commonly used. This approach reflects Star Clippers’ enduring commitment to providing voyages that combine sailing heritage, adventure, local culture, and breathtaking scenery.
